Accredited Investors
An accredited investor is:
- A person with an annual income exceeding $200,000, or $300,000 for joint income, for the last two years with expectation of earning the same or higher income in the current year; OR
- An individual with net worth exceeding $1 million (excluding primary residence), either individually or jointly with his/her spouse; OR
- An entity (corporation, LLC, or trust) with assets exceeding $5 million; OR
- An entity (corporation or LLC) that consists of equity owners who are all accredited investors themselves.
